While serving as a paratrooper in the US Army, Thomas started his yoga practice to counteract this high stress working environment and to recoup his body from four years of greco-roman wrestling and intensive military service. The benefits of coupling movement with breathing and intention bring immeasurable benefits in terms of inoculating yourself against stress so that it becomes a force for growth instead of destruction. Thomas immersed himself in yoga accumulating well over 2,000 hours in training to distill yoga to its essence. From a young age Thomas also had a consuming interest in music that led to joining several musical groups and performances. The music is a perfect catalyst along with a brief but powerful yoga practice to empty the body and mind in preparation for centering the self in its original place.
